Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, exploring its unique landscapes and wildlife. Overnight in Tarangire.
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its forested slopes, lake shores filled with birds, and perhaps spot tree-climbing lions. Afternoon at leisure or more game viewing. Overnight near Manyara.
Travel to the Serengeti National Park (central-west / east region). On arrival, begin your first Serengeti game drive, tracking herds and predators. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Depart Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro highlands. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari — this crater is a wildlife hotspot and home to black rhinos, lions, elephants, and more. Overnight on the crater rim.
After a relaxed morning, drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight, you can stop for lunch or do a final short game drive nearby before returning to your lodge or transferring to the airport. Overnight in Arusha (or continue to day 9 if needed).
