Arrive in Moshi or Arusha and transfer to your hotel. Meet your guide for a detailed briefing, gear check, and final preparations for the trek.

Drive to the Marangu Gate and begin trekking through dense rainforest. Reach Mandara Hut (approx. 4–5 hours). Kilimanjaro Bound+1

Continue trekking into the heath and moorland zone. The landscape opens up, giving your first clear views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Overnight at Horombo Hut.

Acclimatization day: optional hike to Zebra Rocks or Mawenzi area, then return to Horombo to rest.

Ascend through moorland and alpine desert, crossing the Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo. Reach Kibo Hut in the evening.

Start climbing around midnight. Reach Gilman’s Point, then Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), and descend back to Horombo Hut after celebrating the summit.

Trek down through moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you receive your summit certificate and transfer back to Moshi.

Transfer from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport (or your next destination).
